Woollen Paper

High Density Textile finishing rolls.

Typical Uses

Key Features

  • Suitable for higher speed, temperature and line load conditions
  • Wool content can be varied to suit operating conditions
  • Improved resistance to heat damage

Woollen Paper roll cover material is essentially a blue denim cotton based material blended with wool fibres. Typical wool fibre contents range from 30% to 45%. The wool content is reduced to improve temperature and load resistance. Higher wool contents give greater resilience of the roll and therefore improved resistance to damage.

Woollen Paper is ideal for higher speed, higher temperature and higher line load textile calendering applications.

Woollen Paper rolls can be resurfaced on standard equipment such as diamond tool, abrasive belt or stone grinding. The rolls can be recovered time and time again.
