Superelastic backing rolls for embossing are manufactured using a high quality woven fabric based cover material. This unique 100% cotton material allows for rapid change of embossing design due to its ability to quickly reform a new emboss pattern even over an existing pattern impression. For this reason Superelastic is ideal for turret embossers.
Superelastic type rolls can be run in geared or ungeared embossing applications. The run in time is greatly reduced compared to Woollen Paper backing rolls, allowing for rapid change of design. The new design can also be run in directly over the existing pattern. The high resilience of the material allows for damage marks to be run out very easily.
